About Mimosa and ED Med Guides

Mimosa is the pen name of the person who runs ED Med Guides. I'm a consumer researcher: my job here is reading pricing pages, subscription terms, FAQs and FDA labels, then laying them out side by side in plain English.

Why this site exists

ED is one of the most common health issues men face. The Massachusetts Male Aging Study found some degree of it in roughly half of men aged 40 to 70. Yet comparing treatment online is harder than it should be: each service frames its prices differently, "starting at" figures hide the real cost per dose, and the important rules (billing cycles, cancel windows, refunds) sit at the bottom of an FAQ.

ED Med Guides puts all of that in one place, written frankly and without judgment.

What I do

Read each provider's published prices and terms, and record them with the source link and the date.
Label every product as an FDA-approved generic, a brand-name drug, or a compounded product.
Summarize medical facts only from primary sources such as FDA labels, clinical guidelines and peer-reviewed studies, and cite them.
Re-check published prices regularly. Any price older than 45 days gets flagged for re-checking.

What I don't do

I don't give medical advice or tell you which medication to take. That's a conversation for a licensed clinician.
I don't invent experiences, testimonials or credentials. If I haven't done something, I won't write that I have.
I don't accept payment to rank a service higher. See how the site makes money.

Why "Mimosa"?

Mimosa is a small yellow flower that shows up when winter turns to spring: a little bit of brightness in an otherwise grey season. That's roughly the mood I want this site to have on a topic most people find awkward. It's also why you'll see little yellow "checked" stamps next to every date.
